How to Play Polydi Roller : Game Rules
The playing field has 3 targets arranged randomly on the floor. Each player begins with 3 or more Polydi. All players must start with the same number of Polydi. One player rolls at a time. After a player rolls a Polydi, the player does NOT touch the Polydi again until the game is completely over. You do NOT collect your Polydi or total up your score after each role. The final location of your Polydi and the score for your Polydi is determined only AFTER “all” players have taken all of their turns by rolling “all” of their Polydi. Players are permitted to BUMP other players Polydi or knock over the targets when it is their turn to roll. For example: If player one has rolled their Polydi very close to a target, and the Polydi has landed on a high score such as 9, player two may decide to try and bump player one’s Polydi out of the way (maybe onto a lower number), or bump the target so that it moves farther from player one’s Polydi. Players can NOT throw the Polydi. The Polydi must slide or roll. After “all” players have rolled “all” of their Polydi, the game is complete. At the end of the game, if any of your Polydi landed 12 inches or less away from any target, you score points for that Polydi. If you are within range of more then one target, you collect points for each target that is within range of your Polydi. As long as you are within 12 inches of a target, you collect points for that target. Return to Polydi Roller Rules main page. Return to the Polydi
