Lucky Seven Low Score Challenge : One Player Game of Polydi

  Polydi Rules  One Player Games

This game requires only ONE Polydi.

Roll the Polydi until you roll the number “7THREE times.

Count the number of rolls it takes to roll 7 three times.  Each roll counts as one point.

The goal is to get the lowest number of points possible.

If you roll a “number”, add one point to your score and roll again.

If you roll a “Minus Sign”, you lose the game and must start the game again.

If you roll a “Plus Sign”, you gain 1 free roll.

If you roll a “Polydi SymbolPolydi Symbol on Polydi, you gain 2 free rolls.

When you roll a “plus sign” or a “Polydi Symbol”, that roll does NOT add a point to your score.

  Below is an example:

First Roll:

Player rolls a 5

The player now has 1 point.

Second Roll:

Player rolls a 4

The player now has 2 points total.

Third Roll:

Player rolls a 7

The player now has 3 points total.  They have also earned their first seven.

Forth Roll:

Player rolls a “plus sign”.

The player does NOT get charged a point for this roll.  They still have 3 points total.  They also earned the next roll free which means they do not get charged a point on their next roll.

Fifth Roll:

Player rolls a 9

The player still has 3 points total because their last roll earned them a free roll.

Sixth Roll:

Player rolls a 3

The player now has 4 points total.

Seventh Roll:

Player rolls a 7

The player now has 5 points total. They have also earned their second seven.  They need one more seven to win the game.

Eighth Roll:

Player rolls a 4

The player now has 6 points total.

Ninth Roll:

Player rolls a “Polydi Symbol”.

The player does NOT get charged a point for this roll.  They still have 6 points total.  They also earned the next TWO rolls free.

Tenth Roll:

Player rolls an 8

The player still has 6 points total.  On this roll, they use up one of their free turns.

Eleventh Roll:

Player rolls another 8.

The player still has 6 points total.  They have now used their second free roll they earned when they had rolled the Polydi Symbol.

Twelfth Roll:

Player rolls a 2

The player now has 7 points total.

Thirteenth Roll:

Player rolls a 7.

The player now has 8 points total.  The third 7 has been rolled and now the game is over

The final score is 8 points.

It is OK to roll a “plus sign” or “Polydi Symbol” more then once in a row.  If you keep rolling these symbols you continue to add up your free turns.

Don’t forget, if you roll a “minus” sign at any time in the game, you lose and the game is over immediately.  This really stinks if you already have two sevens and have a good score… Well, too bad, you lose.  Fortunately, you are welcome to try again.  Maybe next time, you can try a different Polydi to see if it has better luck.

See how low of a score you can get!!!
