Polydi Brawler Level 3 : TWO PLAYER Game Rules | ||||||||||||
We suggest that each player starts the game with 5 POLYDI. The FIVE Polydi you select for the match become your Polydi Brawlers for the game (this is your team).
Tip: If you do not own enough Polydi, you can use game pieces. Who earns points? important rule
If their is a tie, see the tie breaker rules below. How many points are earned? important rule
In other words, the player that rolled the highest score earns the “difference” between his or her roll and the other players roll. Don’t forget to first add any bonus points received from rolling the “plus sign" during your turn before you calculate the score.
If both players have the same score, they both roll again
for a tie
breaker round. Rolling a NUMBER? important rule
When the player rolls a “number”, they should leave the Polydi in the field of play. They should NOT remove the Polydi from the field of play until all players complete their turn and scores are calculated. If a player received any bonus points from rolling a “plus” symbol during their turn, they must remember how many points they received to add to their score. They can memorize their plus one scores or use a note pad. After each player has taken their turn in the duel, it is time to determine “WHO” gains strength points AND “how many strength points” they have earned during this round. Tip: Your score can also be called your "strength points" or power points, etc. If you need help with your math facts, you are welcome to utilize the Math Fact Sheets or any other tool that you would find helpful. If you roll a (minus sign) that means you must put the Polydi that you have just rolled into the cage. Your Polydi has been CAPTURED. Take another Polydi and roll again. If you have no more Polydi Brawlers to roll, you lost the duel.
Slide Up
Roll your Polydi again. Tip: If you roll a plus sign a few times, don’t forget to keep adding one point to your score for each plus sign rolled.
Important: After reaching 21 points or more, “all” players that have not yet had their turn during the round must take their turn. If they roll a plus, minus, or Polydi Symbol it may affect the game. If two or more players are tie for the highest score, those players roll again for a tie breaker. Winner takes all Polydi from the cage and the Polydi being played by each player. You can now challenge your opponents to another duel.
If you and the other players in the game do not want to complete three full matches to declare a winner of the game that is perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with playing only a few duels or possibly a match or two. The idea is to have fun. If you think a full game (winning three matches) is too lengthy, you can certainly shorten your adventure.
If two or more players have a tie score, the players with the same score must ROLL AGAIN. Learn more details about the tie breaker rules. |
Tip: If a player still has a Polydi on their team, they should always complete their turn to officially finish the round. Even if one or more players has already reached 21 or more, it is important for everyone to take their turn. If the player is far from winning, they still have an opportunity to roll a plus sign, minus sign, or Polydi Symbol which can effect the round. ALL players that are not yet officially out of the match, should roll their Polydi to finish the round. Each player gets an equal number of turns. |
